On May 5, 2012 between 7:30 pm and 11:00 pm person(s)
forcibly entered through the back door of a residence at 2658 Wynn Rd. Once inside the person(s) stole several
electronics. The person(s) also stole a lawnmower, black & orange weed eater,
and electric chainsaw from the back porch area. Anyone with information of this

On 03/27/2012 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to a suspicious incident at River Gate Plaza where a wooden ladder was found against the rear of the building. Officers made their way onto the roof to ensure no one was trespassing on the roof of the building. While clearing the roof officers noticed where some power wires that had been removed from the roof that led into the building. committed a burglary at 5168 Smith St Greenwood. Several electronics, tools and

6:00 pm March 6th and 12:00 noon March 7th someone stole
a battery charger and assorted hand tools from 2416 Syfrett Rd in Cottondale.
The battery charger is a Sears brand with spliced power cord. Anyone with

Between
5:00 pm March 2nd and 9:00 am March 4th someone stole two
gates from the entrance to farm land at a location near Seay Rd and Corbin Rd.
The gates are described as Red in color and made with Tubular shaped metal. One
was 4’x8’ and the other was 4’x10’. Anyone with information of this crime

March 02 and March 05, 2012 someone stole an Exide battery from some equipment

On Thursday, December 15 what some might consider as a historical landmark in the town of Cottondale was damaged in a suspicious fire. A portion of the old fertilizer plant in Cottondale was destroyed. The silo type structure was made of wood and metal.
Jackson County Fire Marshall, Chuck Sawyer, stated that apparently the fire had been burning for around forty minutes before they were summoned to the scene around 5:00 PM. The cause of the fire is still investigation, but it is believed the fire was intentionally ignited. The plant has been closed for several years, and is owned by Gulf Coast Fertilizer, Inc., and is managed by Jim Gibbs. Only a relatively small section of the total plant was burned.

On 12/15/11 Officers with the Marianna Police Department
responded to a residence located at 4266 6th Ave, Marianna, FL., in
reference to an armed robbery. The
victim who works for a local pizza business was delivering pizza to the above
address when he was robbed by two black males.
While the victim was attempting to locate the residence of where the
pizza was to be delivered, he noticed the residence appeared to be under construction
and that no lights were on in the house.
The victim then called the customer to verify the address, in which he
was advised he was at the right location. As the victim was preparing to give
the subject his pizza order, a second subject, wearing a black bandana around
his mouth approached him, pulling out a firearm and pointing it at his
chest. The masked gunman demanded that
the victim give him all the money and the victim complied with the gunman’s
demands by throwing the money on the ground.
The victim was then instructed to turn around and place his hands on the
car, while the gunman searched the victim’s back pockets. The gunman then
instructed the victim to move towards the trunk of his car while both suspects
rummaged thru the victim’s car.
After a few moments the subject’s fled the scene, taking
only the three 12 oz Cokes that had been delivered with the pizza, thus leaving
the pizza behind. The victim described
the first suspect as being a black male, approximately 5’11, thick build, with
a low style hair cut, and wearing dark colored cargo style shorts. The second suspect was described as being
6’2, thin build, wearing a black bandana, which he wore “cowboy” style. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of
cash, two cell phones, a GPS, and an IPod touch. Fortunately the victim was not harmed during
the robbery.

Between November 11th and November 25th,
2011 unknown person(s) entered onto the property of McArthur Farms on Hwy 162
west of the intersection of Old U S Road. While on the property the person(s)
did commit the theft of copper wire from two pivot irrigation systems.

On November 19, 2011 between the hours of 9:30 am and 11:45
am unknown person(s) committed the theft of trailer located at the Crossroads
Shopping Center. This trailer was owned by Jackson County Recycling and was
parked with other recycling trailers. The trailer was described as a 2007,
black in color, twenty feet long, and six feet in height mesh sides. The
trailer had double rear gates and signs stating “Jackson County Recycling” on
both sides.

Between October 01, 2011 and November 10, 2011 unknown
person(s) entered onto the property of Alternative Storage at 3801 Hwy 90.
While on the property the person(s) committed the theft of a utility trailer.
The trailer is described as a 2006 black in color with Alabama license plate #
16UT0524.

On November 20, 2011 it was reported between November 18th
and November 20th unknown person(s) burglarized a residence at 3063
Hunter Fish Camp Road. While inside the person(s) did commit the theft an
undetermined amount of change and some Porter Cable brand tools.

November 03, 2011 Mowrey Elevator at 4518 Lafayette St. Marianna, Fl. 32446 was
burglarized and vandalized. Then on
11-10-2011 Mowrey Elevator was burglarized a second time. During this second burglary the perpetrators
took thousands of dollars worth of copper power wires and welding equipment.
The
owner of Mowrey Elevator is very concerned for the safety and welfare of his
employees. Mr. Mowery is offering a $10,000.00 dollar reward to anyone that
provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those
responsible for these crimes. Please

entered into a construction zone at the St. Johns AME Church located at 2201
AME Road, Campbellton. The person(s) committed the theft of a welding trailer
containing a Kohler welder and welding equipment. The trailer is described as a 6’x5’ single
axle with homemade ladder racks on both sides.

October 16th and 17th 2011, near the area of the

drivers and passengers, including children.
